This is a chirori that takes advantage of tin's excellent thermal conductivity.
A chirori is a tool used to warm sake.
Please use it by placing it in a hot water bath. When bathing in hot water, the tin itself will become very hot due to its high thermal conductivity.
Please hold the part where the rattan is wrapped.

In the past, tin containers were said to have antibacterial properties, and sake was also called 'o-tin' in the Imperial Court. Because tin has good thermal conductivity, it is used to heat sake without evaporating the alcohol.
