If you place the sake cup on a sake cup stand and raise it slightly above the table, it will be easier to pick up and enjoy the warm sake slowly.
It was a shame that traditionally cups were placed on cup stands, but over time they have become the norm to be placed directly on the surface, so we asked woodworker Kawai Masaru to make one for us.
Unlike ceramic cup stands, it has a soft feel when placed on it.
